Through the years, the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering has been committed to continuously deliver quality education to its students while also conducting innovative researches and extending assistance to the community towards the bridging of gaps and solution of problems related to agricultural and biosystems engineering.
Since 1976, the Department of Agricultural Engineering, now the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering (DAFE), has been contributing to provide engineering solutions to agro-industrial problems in the Philippines. The department continuously conducts relevant research and extension activities and promotes the development and transfer of appropriate agricultural engineering technology to the agriculture industry.
